Law enforcement in Manitoba, Canada, have arrested an 18-year-aged male on suspicion of carrying out cyber-attacks on victims throughout North The united states.
Dayne Parrott-Jones, of Brandon, was taken into custody on March 8 by customers of the Brandon Law enforcement Services Crime Suppression Device next an 11-month investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and police forces in The us and Canada.

Parrot-Jones’ girlfriend, 24-calendar year-aged Rolanda Chaske, who shares his dwelling on Pacific Avenue, was also arrested, but not in relationship with the alleged cyber-crimes.
Sergeant Brian Partridge said: “In April of 2021, Brandon Law enforcement Assistance was contacted by the FBI in Los Angeles about a pair of co-conspirators that had been conducting cyber-attacks each in Canada and in the United States.
“1 of the suspects was recognized as residing in Brandon even though the other a person was in Texas.”
When arresting Parrott-Jones, law enforcement found a substantial amount of marijuana at his home alongside with a 3D printer which they feel was in the method of printing what appeared to be the reduced receiver of a handgun.
