A qualified moral hacker has been billed with several offenses immediately after thieving a significant sum of cryptocurrency worthy of just about $600,000,

Police in Pinellas Park, Florida, arrested 27-calendar year aged Aaron Daniel Motta just after he reportedly stole an elderly client’s Trezor hardware wallet and its password while offering security help.

The victim has not nevertheless been named, and various specifics have but to be unveiled.

Police arrested the “certified moral hacker” and charged him with grand theft and other pc offenses.

Motta is now self-employed, proudly owning Motta Administration & Mitigation Products and services. Motta also actively participates in Apple’s bug bounty plan.

In accordance to a Facebook web page in Motta’s identify, he is outlined as an IT supervisor, previous cyber security engineer and ethical hacker, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
