Skyhigh Security

Symphony Technology Group (STG) has rebranded McAfee Enterprise’s Security Company Edge (SSE) small business as Skyhigh Security.

The transfer follows the private equity firm’s conclusion to break up McAfee Business into two organisations earlier this 12 months, named Trellix and Skyhigh Security. At the time, it was exposed that Trellix was to target on Prolonged Detection and Reaction (XDR), when Skyhigh would turn into a portfolio firm concentrated on SSE.

“With the greater part of details in the cloud and consumers accessing it from just about everywhere, a new technique to security is needed,” Rittenhouse stated. “Skyhigh Security has developed a comprehensive security system to safe both information access and facts use via unified insurance policies and info consciousness.

“Organisations can now have full visibility and control and seamlessly check and mitigate security risks—achieving reduced connected expenses, driving higher efficiencies and maintaining pace with the speed of innovation.”

Skyhigh’s portfolio incorporates a host of SSE offerings, like Safe Web Gateway (SWG), Cloud Obtain Security Broker (CASB), Zero Have confidence in Network Accessibility (ZTNA), and Cloud Info Reduction Prevention (DLP). It also handles Distant Browser Isolation technology, Cloud Firewall and Cloud Indigenous Software Defense Platform (CNAPP).

“Skyhigh Security has emerged as a committed cloud security enterprise that is laser-centered on propelling firms forward with a complete and converged technique to details security,” defined William Chisholm, taking care of associate, STG.

“We’re fully commited to investing in this company, which is in a single of the most vital marketplaces in security, SSE.”
