A bill intended to improve visibility of international ransomware attackers has handed in the US House of Associates.
The Reporting Attacks from Nations Chosen for Oversight and Monitoring Web Attacks and Ransomware from Enemies Act (also regarded as the RANSOMWARE Act) will make it easier for the US to reply to ransomware attacks from international adversaries in accordance to its creator, Republican Florida Representative Gus Bilirakis.

The RANSOMWARE Act focuses on Russia, China, North Korea, and Iran, exclusively pinpointing these international locations when referring to alleged perpetrators of ransomware attacks.
