To coincide with the UK government’s assertion, US president Joe Biden also announced new sanctions from Russia, focusing on 32 entities and officials, as effectively as expelling 10 diplomats.

Raab also vowed that the UK will “continue to operate with allies to contact out Russia’s malign behaviour wherever we see it”.
