“Parents have a right to know and consent ahead of organizations collect their children’s personal info,” said principal deputy assistant lawyer general Brian Boynton, head of the Justice Department’s Civil Division. “The office is committed to imposing the protections in opposition to unauthorized collection of facts from customers, specially small children.”
