Purple74 is a privately held company whose clientele are largely in the economic expert services and distribution/warehouse administration sectors. It was released in the summer months of 2009 and operates from an office in Pennington.

The firm’s staff gives data technology managed services and vital IT security administration abilities to little and medium-sized organizations (SMBs) in New Jersey, Manhattan, and Eastern Pennsylvania.

Less than the conditions of the settlement, Crimson74 will continue on to be centered in New Jersey but will turn into a wholly owned subsidiary of Cerberus Sentinel, which is sited in Scottsdale, Arizona.

“A robust cybersecurity stance is crucial not only to IT source administration, but to the main enterprise functions of all businesses,” stated Tim Coleman, president of Purple74.

“We are thrilled to be a portion of the Cerberus Sentinel crew and add to the mission of ensuring the defense and continued success of our customers.”

David Jemmett, CEO and founder of Cerberus Sentinel, stated Coleman’s enthusiasm for the offer was catching.

“RED74 is an excellent addition for the Cerberus portfolio of organizations,” claimed Jemmett. “Tim has created a solid workforce, and we know his continued help in the Cerberus Sentinel household will have a good effects.”

Jemmett extra: “Tim’s pleasure to be part of a countrywide agency is contagious. Performing with him and his crew has been and will continue to be a enjoyment.”

Red74 isn’t the only security acquisition to be made by Cerberus Sentinel. In August, Cerberus snapped up VelocIT, a managed security products and services company, also based mostly in New Jersey.

That offer adopted Cerberus Sentinel’s December 2020 acquisition of Alpine Security, a St. Louis, Missouri–based cybersecurity companies provider.

A spokesperson for Cerberus Sentinel said: “The organization is rapidly increasing by getting world-class cybersecurity, secured managed services, and compliance providers with prime-tier expertise that make use of the most up-to-date technology to develop impressive methods to safeguard the most demanding corporations and authorities companies versus continuing and emerging security threats and compliance obligations.”
