A reserve on cybersecurity that doesn’t characteristic any text penned by people who establish as male has been released by JupiterOne.
Reinventing Cybersecurity, which came out on Tuesday, claims to be “the first cybersecurity e book prepared completely by ladies and non-binary professionals.”
The publication is a collection of authentic stories from 17 woman and non-binary security experts. Linking every tale is a central topic of redefining, through the sharing of various expert views on cybersecurity’s technical and interpersonal aspects, an marketplace typically dominated by white gentlemen.
Subjects covered in the ebook contain boardroom displays, risk administration, incident response and navigating the C-suite. The authors also share their insights and practical advice on handling imposter syndrome, systemic bias and selecting.
Individuals whose tales appear in the selection include things like Lonye Ford, CEO at ARLO Alternatives, Joyous Huggins, founder of Defender Academy, Angela Marafino, client product or service manager at Microsoft, Lisa Corridor, CISO at Coloration and Dr Meg Layton, guide details security engineer at Children’s Countrywide Healthcare facility.
