A new Android banking Trojan dubbed “PixPirate” has been spotted focusing on economic establishments in Brazil between the conclusion of 2022 and the commencing of this calendar year.

The results come from security professionals at Cleafy, who explained the new threat in an advisory printed on Friday.

In accordance to Cleafy security scientists Francesco Lubatti and Alessandro Strino, the key goal of this malware was to steal delicate facts and perpetrate fraud makes an attempt on Pix customers.
