German authorities have declared the takedown of an illicit underground marketplace named Nemesis Marketplace that peddled narcotics, stolen details, and several cybercrime companies.

The Federal Legal Law enforcement Business office (aka Bundeskriminalamt or BKA) claimed it seized the digital infrastructure affiliated with the darknet services located in Germany and Lithuania and confiscated €94,000 ($102,107) in cryptocurrency assets.

The procedure, executed in collaboration with legislation enforcement companies from Germany, Lithuania, and the U.S., took location on March 20, 2024, adhering to an intensive investigation that commenced in October 2022.

Started in 2021, Nemesis Current market is approximated to have experienced a lot more than 150,000 consumer accounts and 1,100 vendor accounts from all more than the entire world prior to its shutdown. Nearly 20$ of the vendor accounts ended up from Germany.
