The UK authorities has declared a new initiative to produce world wide expectations for synthetic intelligence (AI).

The Alan Turing Institute, supported by the British Specifications Establishment (BSI) and the Nationwide Physical Laboratory (NPL), will pilot the AI Standards Hub, which is designed to make improvements to AI governance as the use of these technologies boosts in society. The hub will be backed by the Office for Electronic, Lifestyle, Media and Sport (DCMS) and the Business for AI (OAI).

It is hoped the plan will assistance aid innovation in AI and unlock the great financial opportunity of these technologies.
