A man from Virginia has admitted cyber-stalking a United States Military recruiter for two years. 

Braxton Louis Danley, a 26-year-previous resident of Luray, began harassing the woman target immediately after failing to go the army’s entrance examination.

Prosecutors said Danley’s to start with speak to with the target happened in February 2018 when he sent her an email asking for information on signing up for the US Army.

A month afterwards, Danley satisfied the recruiter in human being when he visited her recruiting station in Harrisonburg, Virginia. It was on this event that Danley took and failed the entrance examination.

The wannabe soldier was instructed by the target and by other military recruiters that he must continue to keep finding out and retake the test at a future day.

Within a handful of months of his release in June 2019, Danley begun harassing the target once again by means of Facebook. In August 2020, a grand jury indicted Danley on one count of cyber-stalking and a few counts of interstate threats.

On December 20, Danley pleaded guilty to cyber-stalking. He is because of to be sentenced on February 1 and faces a most sentence of five several years in jail.
