Google verified today it has signed a definitive agreement to obtain Mandiant, which will be a part of Google Cloud when the deal closes.

Google stated the acquisition of Mandiant will complement Google Cloud’s current strengths in security. With the addition of Mandiant, it aims to greatly enhance its choices to produce end-to-finish security functions with even bigger capabilities to help prospects throughout their cloud and on-premise environments.

The tech giant underlined that Mandiant delivers true-time and in-depth threat intelligence obtained on the frontlines of cyber security with the largest organisations in the entire world. Google claimed it will help enterprises keep secured at every phase of the security lifecycle.

This will be performed by way of Mandiant’s advisory services, menace detection and intelligence, automation and reaction applications, testing and validation, and managed defence.
